Words of Light Ministries

We moved to Honduras in November of 2003. In June of 2005 we officially started WORDS OF LIGHT MINISTRIES. Our focus is leadership development with a focus of teaching the Word of God to men so they can evangelize their own people. Our desire has been to be in the background of the activities and to let the national people do the contact work. Currently we are training in farming and will begin discipleship training in 2012.

Heart of God Ministries

Matthew and Heather began working with the Indonesian people through Heart of God in 2008. They continue to support this evangelism effort by recruiting, resource development and fund raising.

Christian Challenge - Concordia, KS

Matthew and a small team of volunteers launched Christian Challenge in the fall of 2011. Christian Challenge is an effort to reach out to both college age students who are currently NOT plugged into a church, and students who claim a church family. Matthew is specifically responsible for preaching weekly messages and discipleship. This would also include forming small groups and events that foster spiritual growth.

Prishtina High School

In 2009 Cindy and Darrel left to meet a need in the small new country of Kosovo. Prishtina High School needs teachers, the people of Kosovo need to hear the good news of Christ, and Christians IN Kosovo need equipping and support. Cindy works hard in the math department and helps with new teacher training. Darrel teaches P.E. and guitar in the school. He also offers worship guitar to assist the local churches with worship. And if that wasn't enough, they host a Tuesday night home group for fellowship and encouragement for staff and teachers.
