Giving
THE WHY
The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.
Hebrews 13:16 - Do not neglect to do what is good and to share, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.
Matthew 6:3 - ...when you give to the poor, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Our mission at Salina Heights is to Love, Live and Lift – Love God passionately, Live in community and Lift up others regularly. To accomplish this mission, we rely on the financial sacrifice of the people that call this place their church home. When you give, you enable Salina Heights to help its people grow spiritually and share the gospel around Salina, KS and even the world.
