“Each One Bring One Sunday” – September 27, 2026

It is September! Most people are home from vacation. School is back in session. High School, College, and Professional sports will soon dominate many schedules. We are anticipating cooler weather, soon! What a relief!

This is great time to invite someone to attend church with you.  From October through the first of 2027 you, your friends, and relatives will fill up your calendars with many activities. But September 27 can be a great day for Salina Heights Christian Church.  If each one of us brings a friend, there will be over 100 in attendance.  You might ask, “What will each one of us, guests, included, experience on September 27 beginning at 10:30 a.m.?”

               *Christ pleasing worship and praise led by Kyle Martin and our dedicated praise team. What a blessing they are to SHCC.

               *Christ centered preaching that will be uplifting, and even a little bit humorous as Dr. Chuck preaches a sermon titled “Ministry is like a box of chocolates you never know what you’ll get.”  

               *A meaningful time of communion with the crucified and risen Lord as we share in the Lord’s Supper together.

               *An opportunity to fellowship after the worship service as we have lunch together in the basement of our church.  Oh, how delicious the food, fellowship, and fun will be!

               *Our newly formed Care Team will get a workout as they welcome and minister to your guests. Please be in prayer for them as they follow up on guests with a “Cookie Crusade.” You will know team members when you see them interacting with guests. They will have a yellow card in their hands. Please give them some time and then greet the guest a little later. Thanks for understanding.

YOU won’t want to miss “Each One Bring One Sunday!” I think you will be talking about it for a long time as you remember the joy of the day.  Your guest will be glad they attended with you. And, most importantly, we will be praying that the Holy Spirit will move in the hearts of all attenders. We all need to be reminded of how important the Church of the Living Lord is to all of us.

It should be easy to invite a friend. You know who you need to invite. Be like NIKE.  Just do it.
